Three cars have been involved in a crash on the main road through Preston city centre.

Ringway heading away from town had one lane closed near the Holiday Inn.

An ambulance and Preston Police vehicle were in attendance.

The cars were parked up around 6.15pm on Wednesday (24 August) as two people were given medical attention.

A white female driver in the black vehicle was treated for minor injuries and a middle aged man in the burgundy people carrier.
