Andrew Flintoff’s former cricket club is set to say cheers as it hosts its second beer festival.
AdvertisementPenwortham Beer Festival is taking place during the August Bank Holiday weekend.
You can enjoy a selection of real ales and ciders while watching the cricket at Penwortham Cricket Club in Leyland Road.
Running from Friday 26 August to Sunday 27 August there are events planned for each day.

On the Friday from 5pm there is pie and peas available alongside the ales and ciders.
On Saturday the Penwortham first XI take on the Whittingham First XI in the Palace Shield Premier League. Live music is on in the evening from The Last Beatniks and hot food available.
During Sunday there’s an all day BBQ and a Penwortham legends game.
Entry to the beer festival is £5 which includes a wristband, commemorative pint glass and a pint.
