A refreshing gin and tonic PIc: Jenny Downing

Gin lovers are in for a treat as a Preston pub hosts a mini festival dedicated to the spirit.

The Plungington Hotel, which recently underwent a makeover, is hosting its first Gin Weekender.

From Friday (26 August) to Monday (29 August) the pub off Lytham Road has craft gins available.

There’s also music throughout the days and DJ sets.

On the menu include Brooklyn Gin, Langley’s No.8 Gin and Sloane’s Gin.

The lawn round the back will be kitted out with deckchairs, lawn games and a BBQ.

Live music comes from Mark Dacy on the Friday, Anna Clark on the Saturday and Sweeney Ashtray on the Sunday. DJ sets from Ben Jaman.
