Pictures have been released showing a shop in Lostock Hall during a robbery.
AdvertisementTwo men are seen entering the Kwik Stop Shop in Linden Drive.
During the incident around 9pm on Monday 4 August one man jumped behind the till and removed cash.
A male member of staff was working elsewhere in the store while the robbery took place.
Det Con Nigel Marler of Preston CID said: “This was a violent robbery by two offenders armed with weapons and intent on stealing property from the premises.
“The offenders had little or no regard for the staff at the shop or the public in the nearby vicinity.
“These new CCTV images show both suspects in some detail. Someone must recognise these men and if you do, I would urge you to contact police immediately. All information will be dealt with in the strictest confidence.
“We are particularly keen to talk anyone who was near to the scene at the time of the incident who may have seen the suspects in the vicinity.”
Both suspects are described as white, wearing black hooded tops and black jogging pants.
