Solita is finally here – after what seems like the world’s biggest wait
Dine by a life-sized cow or under the vibrant glow of the neon signs – this is the fascinating interior of Preston’s latest restaurant.
Solita Bar and Grill is the first of its kind to come to the city, offering a unique dirty-food feasting experience for its diners.
The city restaurant is the fourth venue to be opened by the team behind the popular Manchester eatery and will seat 200 covers over two floors.

Taking up the former Olive Press and Heathcote’s Brasserie building on Winckley Square, the restaurant is set to open its doors Thursday 28 July.
The menu is set to wow customers with its classics such as ‘The Manc-Hattan’ and its ‘pizza fries’, but Preston diners are expected to be amazed with tasty surprises added on to the menu on the opening day.
Owner, Franco Sotgiu said: “We’re excited; at last we’re almost here.
“We took our time, hoping to get it just right. We had to completely gut the kitchen and the interior has been transformed.

“As for the food – we’ve added to the menu, which we know is loved in Manchester but we wanted to add a lighter touch too.
“Of course we’re looking forward to brining our burgers to Preston and we have some exciting new ones to reveal as we open.”
