Laura Soothill, a volunteer events coordinator for Friends of Bank Hall, spoke to Blog Preston about the three elements of the project:
She said: “We are fundraising to restore the building and develop it into houses and flats whilst retaining its historical heritage.
“Renovation will extend to include the creation of a Potting Shed and Walled Garden.â
A raffle will take place with numerous prizes donated by local businesses including a pair of tickets for a Preston North End home game.
It is hoped that the event will encourage more volunteers of all ages to become involved with the charity.
Presently the youngest volunteer is 15 years of age and Friends of Bank Hall would like more of the younger generation to take an interest.
