Watch major fire at sawdust mill near Preston

Fire crews are battling a major fire at a sawdust mill near Preston.

Preston Fire Station said it had sent three crews to the blaze in Church Lane, Lostock Hall.

Whitfire Shavings is understood to have gone up in flames around 9am on Tuesday (21 June).

Footage posted by Michael Collison shows the extent of the smoke plumes from the industrial site.

Prestonians are reporting being able to see the smoke from Preston city centre as firefighters battle to bring it under control.
