Spitfire to fly over Preston for Military Show at Barracks

The Spitfire will fly over the city centre

The World War II fighter will be above Preston

A Spitfire is due to roar over Preston on Saturday afternoon.

Preston Military Show is back at Fulwood Barracks after a two years break.

Organisers say if the weather is fair there will be a flypast by the Spitfire, it is not known what time this will take place.

The show is free to enter and is on from 12noon on Saturday 18 June.

It will see a number of military vehicles on display.

The World War II plane is also due to fly over Preston’s skies for Armed Forces Day celebrations during Saturday 25 June.
