A new TV show coming to the UK could help Prestonians get onto the property ladder.

The show, with the working title Help Us Buy, is looking for couples in the Lancashire area who are looking to buy their first home together and need help.

They will then provide both advice and £15,000 towards the deposit.

The show will be hosted by US property expert Max Blake who is contributing his own money towards the show to help people get onto the property ladder.

The average property price in the UK is now over £200,000 with many struggling to buy their first home.
