Betsid has now opened in Friargate
A new betting shop has opened in Friargate as new openings continue at pace down one of the city’s main streets.
Betsid, owned by Simon Rigby who also operates the Guild Hall, has expanded to a third premises in the city.
What used to be TaylorMade has been given a revamp and opened up.
Paul Kirkby, operations manager, said: “Betsid are proud to open our seventh and most impressive shop to date in Preston and Lancashire.
“We thought the former TaylorMade site was ideal. It’s a great size, very spacious and airy. We wanted to create a place where our customers can come and enjoy their betting experience in a comfy tub chair while they sip a free tea or coffee.
“Gone are the days of the dark, grotty back street bookie. This is the future of betting, air conditioned well-lit shops with high spec gaming and betting machines.”
The betting shop is the thirdf in Preston since Mr Rigby opened in Church Street in November 2013, alongside New Hall Lane.
To mark the opening of the latest Betsid they’ve offered all Blog Preston readers a free £5 bet during Euro 2016 – or anything else you want to take a flutter on.
