Longridge Road roadworks causing delays

Two sets of roadworks in Longridge Road are causing delays for commuters.

A first set in Ribbleton near Tesco see United Utilities repairing a sewer.

These are due to finish on Friday 10 June.

The second set, with stop-go boards, are out on the way to Grimsargh.

Electricity North West are working to repair an underground high voltage cable.

These are due to continue until Monday 22 June, and are causing significant delays in the Longsands area during peak times.
