Race for Lifers make their way through Avenham and Miller Parks

Hundreds of women wore pink and joined in a 5k and 10k Race for Life event on Avenham Park on Sunday (19 June).

Some ran the course, some jogged and others walked hand in hand but they were all helping to raise thousands of pounds for the fight against cancer.

It followed the Pretty Muddy obstacle course on Saturday, which saw hundreds of women make their way through an assault course.
