A horror experience only previously experienced in the United States is coming to the UK – and will be on Preston’s doorstep.
AdvertisementThe team behind the Scare Kingdom theme park are bringing their four hour horror survival game Snuffhouse After Dark to the site close to Samlesbury.
‘Victims’ have to survive a series of scenarios designed to test their courage and will.
Creator Russ McKamey, who is hosting the event ‘virtually’, said: “McKamey Manor is looking forward to collaborating exclusively in Europe with the team producing Snuffhouse After Dark. For the first time ever, fans across the pond will be able to experience a completely new version of the McKamey Manor world.
“McKamey Manor has always prided itself on bringing our audiences a very unique horror adventure, and with Snuffhouse After Dark we are creating a show that combines all aspects of interactivity and theatrics.
“For the first time in McKamey Manor history, we will be using a safe word for those who wimp out, So for all of you victims in Europe, I’m personally challenging you to take on Snuffhouse after dark. Even though this will be a different version of the manor, it is still my obligation to inform you…You really don’t want to do this… ”

The event is already sold out for the first three dates from when it opens in August.
Eric Dowson, director of Scare Kingdom Scream Park, said: “After the success of our Horror Camp LIVE! overnight scare entertainment camping experience since 2012, we felt it was time to shake it up with a brand new form of fun and fear.
“Russ McKamey’s international reputation as the master of modern horror seemed a perfect fit for us, and we are delighted to be jointly presenting Snuffhouse attractions alongside him and also in partnership with Fringe Horror Theatre in New York. It is going to be a scream.”
It is only open to over 18s, costs £64.99 plus booking fee and more information can be found on the Snuffhouse After Dark website.
