Emergency services called to incident at Preston Bus Station

Emergency services were called to an incident at Preston Bus Station this morning.

Police and paramedics were called at around 10am following reports that a man had fallen from the station.

At 10.40am, paramedics were still at the scene treating the man.

The incident has caused delays to a number of services arriving and departing at the station.

Onlookers have already praised swift action from paramedics.

“Emergency services are currently at the scene and the man is being treated by paramedics.”

A police spokesperson said: “At 10am this morning we were called to reports that a man had jumped off Preston Bus Station.

“Emergency services are currently at the scene and the man is being treated by paramedics.”

Update

The man has been taken to Royal Preston Hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police.
