A Fishwick teenager who has not been seen since Thursday night is being urged to come home.
Update: Preston Police said late on Friday evening Chantelle was found safe and well. They said social media played a major part on tracing her.
Preston Police have issued an appeal to trace Chantelle Thompson, also known as Chantelle Swain.
The 13-year-old was last seen in Calverley Street, Fishwick, off New Hall Lane, around 8.30pm on Thursday 2 June.
She is described as white, 5ft, of medium build and has long light-brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black jacket with white flowers, dark blue jeans and sunglasses.
A Lancashire Police spokesman said: “We are growing increasingly concerned about the whereabouts of Chantelle and would urge anyone who may have seen her or who knows where she may be to get in touch as soon as possible.
“Similarly I would urge Chantelle if she sees this appeal to get in touch to let us know that you are safe.”
