Car fire at park and ride sends smoke across Ashton-on-Ribble

Firefighters were called to reports of a car on fire near Preston Docks.

The incident on Monday (June 6) saw smoke billowing up across the Ashton-on-Ribble sky.
A gold car was seen with flames coming from its engine around 8pm.

It was parked up in the Riversway park and ride car park.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service sent a crew to put out the flames.
