Simon Rigby’s latest venture in Preston is taking shape, and it is not at the Guild Hall.

The multi-millionaire is expanding his betting firm Betsid by taking over what used to be Taylor MadeĀ in Friargate.

At the bottom end of Friargate by the Wetherspoons there is refurbishment work ongoing.

Operations manager for Betsid Paul Kirkby said they were on track to open on Wednesday 8 June.

He said three new staff were being hired as a result of the opening.
