The Acorns School has been targeted by vandals a number of times

A school for disabled children in Preston has been left counting the cost after being damaged by vandals.

Acorns School in Moor Park had windows smashed and other damage, estimated to cost £6,000 to repair.

Preston Police said the incident happened overnight Tuesday (17 May) into Wednesday (18 May).

It is the third time in recent weeks the school has been targeted, with fencing and roof tiles damaged during incidents on Thursday 5 May and Thursday 28 April.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police on 101 quoting log number LC-20160518-0170.
