A plane circling over the North West edge of Preston late on Saturday night caused alarm.
The private Cessna 208b was doing loops in the Lea and Ingol area.
Listed with no callsign on the FlightRadar website it showed it was operating at 1950ft.

The police helicopter at Warton said they were aware of the plane.
NPAS Warton tweeted at 12.02am on Sunday (May 22) to say they believed it was carrying out environmental surveillance.
