Watch Lancashire Police take on the ‘running man’ dance challenge

Officers from Lancashire Police have taken on a global challenge by taking on the ‘running man’ dance.

In the one minute, 26 second video posted on their Facebook page, officers show off their moves on Blackpool’s Comedy Carpet.

The viral craze has taken police forces around the world by storm.

The challenge is simple – do the running man style dance to 90’s song My Boo by Ghost Town DJs.

In the post on the Facebook page the force said: “We love a challenge – do you?!

“Here’s our #RunningManChallenge featuring our fab cadets, PCSOs, Specials and Police Officers burning up the Comedy Carpet in Blackpool!”

They sign their post off challenging Cheshire Police, Greater Manchester Police and Merseyside Police.

The video has been viewed more than 80,000 times and was posted to advertise 200 new volunteer police cadet roles for Lancashire Police.
