Preston’s university is opening its doors for the annual degree show and Prestonians are invited to see the creativity of its students.

The University of Central Lancashire 2016 Degree Shows include performances taking place throughout June in music, dance, contemporary theatre and films.

Executive dean of cultural and creative industries Dr Andrew Ireland said: “The students have worked hard to create something for a range of audiences and this year’s Degree Shows have something to offer visitors of all ages, backgrounds and interests.

“This annual showcase allows us to share the amazing talent of our creative students which never fails to impress year on year.

We are keen to engage with people living, working and studying in the region and I would encourage as many people as possible to come along and enjoy the exhibitions which give the public a great opportunity to see what excellent and unique work these students have produced across a wide range of disciplines.”

Free car parking is being offered on the university campus during the degree shows, with visitors able to download and print a parking permit.

The degree shows are spread across five UCLan buildings and run from Friday 10 June until Friday 17 June.

All events and exhibitions are free to view, and a listing can be found on the UCLan website of when and where they take place.
