Paul Lunt was last seen at Royal Preston Hospital

A Preston man not seen since he visited hospital on Friday (20 May) morning has triggered a police search.

Paul Lunt, 55, was last seen at Royal Preston Hospital at 11am.

Update: Preston Police tweeted at 9pm to say Mr Lunt had been found safe and well

Police say he could be in the Preston area and also has links to Southport.

Mr Lunt is white, of slim build,. 5’7″, unkempt appearance, short greying hair.

He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket and blue jeans. There is a noticeable bruise under his left eye.

PC Lee Tickle of Chorley Police said, “We are growing increasingly concerned about Paul as his disappearance is out of character. I would appeal to anyone who sees him or knows where he might be to get in touch with us.

“I’d also ask Paul himself to contact us if he sees this appeal to let us know he is okay.”
