An Egyptian restaurant in Preston is to serve a free meal to the city’s homeless.

Lola, in London Road, Frenchwood, is marking two year of being open with the gesture.

Restaurant owner Walaa Hassan said: “It’s been two years now and it’s time we help others as best we can.

“This is an open invitation to those who need help. They can have a hot meal on us.”
