In a Victorian jewel in Preston’s crown there’s a lot of work going on to restore the Miller Arcade to its former glory.
AdvertisementThese pictures show what it was like inside before the builders moved in as they work to convert the top floors into flats, a restaurant and roof terrace.
An urban explorer, known only as ScrappyNW, gained access to the roof space to see how it looked.
The pictures show the ornate detail and stained glass throughout the Arcade.
Previously home to a Turkish Baths there is now work going on to the Lancaster Road side to introduce a new cafe.
Elsewhere it has seen the Olive Tree Brasserie open along with Baluga bar expanding to include a street kitchen.
