Chief executive of the chamber of commerce Babs Murphy said: “We have enjoyed a packed programme of events so far this year to celebrate the Chamber’s Centenary, and the Dragon Boat Challenge is yet another that will be very special.
“We first took part in the event back in 2012, and from then on, the Chamber has organised an annual competition for companies to come together and battle it out on the water.
“This year, we have the highest number of competitors to date, which will see hundreds of racers take to the water to be crowned the Centenary Challenge champion.”
