A coffee chain is preparing to convert a former bank into a new cafe.
Costa has tabled plans for what used to be the HSBC Bank at the junction of Garstang Road and Black Bull Lane, Fulwood.
The bank closed in October last year and has been empty since.
Now the coffee giant has tabled plans via DPR Retail Ltd. Proposals show a number of seating areas inside with space fpor around 40 people.
Two toilets are also contained within the proposals and a baby change facility.

The new Costa would create three full-time jobs and six part-time jobs.
Its opening hours are due to be 6.30am to 9pm seven days a week.
Costa already has cafes at Deepdale Shopping Park, the Docks, St George’s Centre, Fishergate and in Debenhams.

The full plans are available to view on the Preston City Council website and anyone wishing to comment can do so there.
