Then Thickens will perform a set at Preston music venue The Ferret next weekend.
The band, who are officially from Chorley but have strong ties to the city, will perform this free show on Friday, April 22.
Support will come Jordao Bassa and the Empire Police along with Jela.
The band have experienced some small success in their career so far, touring with Echo and the Bunnymen.
Their second album Colic was praised heavily by Drownedinsound and named one of their 2015 albums of the year while 2014 track Tiny Legs was named one of the best songs of 2014.
The band are currently in the process of recording their third album, have their own beer and will even be performing at 2000 Trees Festival in July.
