A police car appears to have been involved in a collision in Ribbleton.
Bystanders reported seeing a Lancashire Police vehicle crumpled near a lamppost.
The incident happened around 2.30pm on Sunday.
A grey Mini was seen in a hedge nearby, it is not known whether the two vehicles had come together.

Police closed the road near the junction with Blackpool Road for around an hour and a half.
A police spokeswoman said: “Whilst responding to an emergency incident the police car went through the junction of Ribbleton and Miller Road when a Mini Cooper that was travelling along Blackpool Road towards New Hall Lane collided with it.
“The Mini Cooper came to stop in a hedge and the police car collided with a lamp post. The driver of the Mini was uninjured.
“The two officers in the police vehicle were injured but their injuries have been described as not serious.”
North West Ambulance Service vehicles were called to the scene.
A spokeswoman for Lancashire Fire Service said: “Two crews from Preston attended a collision close to the junction of Blackpool Road and Miller Road.
“There were no trapped casualties reported and the ambulance crews were already in attendance when firefighters arrived.
“Crews assisted in administering first aid at the scene. It said the collision involved a police car and another vehicle.”
