David Gest will perform at the Guild Hall

Preston Guild Hall have provided an update on the status of one of their shows following the unfortunate death of David Gest today.

David Gest was scheduled to bring his ‘David Gest is not Dead But Alive With Soul Tour’ to Preston on Thursday, July 7.

The status of this tour is now in doubt following the passing of the legendary producer.

A spokesperson for Preston Guild Hall said: “We are deeply saddened by the news regarding David Gest.

“At this moment in time we are awaiting more information from the production company.

“We will of course be hoping to go ahead with the show on 7^th July as there are numerous acts performing in the line-up but until we have more information from the production team, we request that the audience bears with us in this difficult time.

“We will be in touch with all bookers as soon as possible with more information.”
