A man fell out of a dinghy in Preston Docks on Friday lunchtime causing an emergency services callout.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service sent a crew from Penwortham to the Docks area at 12.26pm.

Reports said a man had fallen from the boat.

They arrived to find him uninjured and he had got himself out of the water.
