A major road into Preston has been closed following a collision near Lea.
Preston Police said they have been called to a crash near the Lea Gate pub in Blackpool Road.
The North West Ambulance Service is in attendance.

The incident happened shortly before 9pm on Saturday, and involves a car and a pedestrian.
Sergeant Dean Khan of Preston Police said the road was closed in both directions.
He said: “It’s likely to be closed for some time. It is closed both ways, there’s a total closure.
“I can’t go into anything about injuries at this stage. I can confirm ambulances were called.”
A police spokesman said earlier: “No time scale is currently available for the road reopening. Congestion is highly likely please avoid the area and find an alternative route.”
A spokesman for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service later said they were called out.
He said: “We received the call around 8.40pm.
“The collision involved several vehicles and a pedestrian.
“No one was trapped but our crews helped administer first aid to one or more casualties.”
