Ben Fuller, who works at Action Records, said: “Record Store Day has been extremely important for independent music retailers over the years.
“We at Action Records in Preston have been involved with this annual day since its inception and have seen it grow into the huge success it is now.
“Along with the massive revival in vinyl’s popularity, Record Store Day is a reminder to people through the national media about the availability of great, physical product and the continued existence of small record shops catering to dedicated music lovers.
“This year’s Record Store Day again sees some excellent limited edition releases by a huge range of artists, from Iron Maiden to David Bowie to Justin Bieber, so there’s something for fans of all genres of music.”
Releases often appear on eBay immediately afterwards so Action Records only allows one of each release per person.
The store will be open from 8am on Saturday morning.
