Preston North End fans are to be donning their bowler hats once more ahead of the trip to Bolton Wanderers.
Gentry Day has become an annual celebration of PNE and with the club still in contention for the play-offs there is everything to play for.
Rock-bottom Bolton host PNE at the Macron Stadium and 5,000 Preston supporters are expected to make the journey.
They will come wearing their bowler hats and Sunday best to honour North End fans who are no longer with us.
The saying ‘the Gentry’ dates back to the 70s when Alan Ball referenced the supporters saying ‘Preston fans are the best, they are the gentry’.
Since the 2008 the day has been revived with fans dressing up for an away game in mid-March each year, organised by the Preston Supporters Group.
