The incidents took place in Balcarres Road, Lytham Road, Stocks Road and Clovelly Avenue during Sunday and Monday night.

PC Tony Stables from the neighbourhood policing team said: “In all these reports the vehicles have been left insecure. Please lets ensure our vehicles are locked and property is not left in our cars and/or on display.

“We need to help ourselves in not making things easy for the offenders responsible. If anyone does see anyone who is acting suspicious in the area or looking into vehicles then please contact the local police so we can check it out. We appreciate all your help and please, stay safe and look after each other.”
