Dogs and their owners will be limbering up for the annual dog show in Ashton Park.
Ruffs has been running for 11 years and sees a number of agility challenges and best in show categories.
Alison Burrow, from the Friends of Ashton Park who organise the show, said: “We’re looking for any dog charities or those involved in dog related work who would be interested in taking a stall.
“We’re a non-profit organisation so any money made from the event goes back into the upkeep of the park
“This year we’re going to have some new competitions for people and their dogs to enter, including musical sit and best fetch.”
The show categories are best male, best female, best veteran, best rescue, the Milton challenge (ugliest dog), fancy dress and best in show.
All categories are £1 to enter and the categories can be sponsored by local businesses.
The Ruffs show takes place on Saturday 11 June from 11am to 4pm.
Anyone interested in being involved is asked to contact the Preston City Council parks department on parks@preston.gov.uk or call 01772906471 and they will pass a message onto Alison and the team.
