Preston’s traditional Easter Egg rolling returns on Bank Holiday Monday.
Avenham Park is the venue for the tradition which dates back to Victorian times.
Chocolate, hard boiled and decorated eggs are chased down the slopes of the grade-II listed park.
Alongside the egg rolling there is an Easter Bonnet competition and workshops during the event on Monday 28 March.
For the kids there’s also the Travelling Treasury storytelling caravan, a bouncy castle and fairground.
