Police cordon off Preston Docks after body found

Preston Docks has been cordoned off after a body was found in the water.


Police have been on the scene on Tuesday afternoon after the discovery of a body.

On Tuesday shortly before 5.30pm police confirmed the body was a 59-year-old man.

A police spokeswoman said: “An underwater search team is in attendance to assist with the removal of the body from the water. The body has not yet been identified.”

Eyewitnesses reported a police cordon being in place close to Morrisons on the Docks.
