A collision on the M6 southbound closed two lanes of the motorway near Preston for more than an hour.
AdvertisementEmergency services were on the scene due to a collision between a number of vehicles at Junction 29 where it joins the M65.
Delays were back to Junction 31 during Tuesday morning.
Three cars were involved in the collision, which saw one man cut from his vehicle by fire crews.
Lancashire Fire and Reescue Service sent two crews from Bamber Bridge and one crew from Leyland.
Highways England tweeted at 11.39am to say: “Thanks to contractors, work to clear incident M6 J29 southbound now completed. All lanes re-opened after collision cleared. No delays.”
