The One Ashford Hospital in Kent
A Preston firm has completed a £30m private hospital in Kent.
Conlon Construction has spent 14 months building the state-of-the-art site in Ashford.
Sean Conlon from the Bamber Bridge headquartered company said: “This hospital will revolutionise healthcare in the county setting extremely high standards of environmental performance and care facilities. We’re very proud to have delivered this project for One Healthcare in conjunction with William Clarke Partnership and architects Manning Elliott.
“Whilst this development has been outside our usual stomping ground in the North of England, we have worked extra hard to ensure we maintain our usual delivery model – recruiting locally and providing high quality workmanship that our customers expect and deserve.”
The new hospital includes 10 consulting rooms, four theatres, four treatment rooms, an endoscopy suite, 10 ambulatory care beds and an MRI and imaging suite.
There’s also a Japanese-inspired roof garden on top of the two-storey building.
