Tens of dog walkers turned out on a sunny Sunday morning to raise money for a Lancashire hospice.
Cuerden Valley Park saw pooches put their best paw forward to secure sponsorship money for Derian House Hospice near Chorley.
Judy Miller community fundraiser for the hospice said: “It’s been an absolutely fantastic day and the dogs have been well behaved and so have the people.
“Around 140 dogs have taken part which is outstanding. Everyone has been off in waves of walking in 15 minutes and walked a two mile route around the park.
“I’m hoping there will be a few thousand pounds once all the sponsorship money comes in.
“The money goes to caring for the kids and ensuring they have as much fun in the time they have with us at Derian.”
If you couldn’t make the Wags and Wellies walk you can still donate to Derian online.
