Dice & Donuts granted premises licence
Dice & Donuts has been granted a premises licence to serve alcohol during their opening hours.
The venue, a board game café on Butler Street in Preston, has been operating with temporary event notices to serve alcohol until this point.
Millie Lavelle, who owns the café, is delighted at the news.
She said: “We’re looking at some craft beers and just talking with some suppliers now.

“Plans to have four or five beers, two or three ciders and add in wines as we learn more about them and what customers would like.”
They now have permission to serve alcohol between 2pm and 10.30pm all week although it should be noted new stock is only expected to arrive for the weekend.
Dice & Donuts opened for the first time in November as part of a concept that is rapidly increasing in popularity.
The first board game café in the UK only opened in 2014 but in China they outnumber the coffee chain Starbucks.
Lavelle opened Dice & Donuts after winning a BID Preston competition for funding.
