Arson investigation launched after fire at Grange Community Centre

Firefighters and police are beginning to investigate the cause of a fire at a community centre in Ribbleton.

The fire at the Grange Community Centre is ‘thought to be suspicious’.

The ground floor of the building in Grange Avenue was ‘well alight’ when two fire engines from Preston fire station arrived at 5.55pm on Sunday.

Firefighters used two teams of breathing apparatus, one hose reel and one ventilation unit to put out the fire.
