A period of settled weather also gave rise to a very misty morning on Thursday.
Stephen Melling got his drone out above the mist to create this magical glimpse of Preston.

Flying above the mist on the Ribble he was able to show the fog coming up but not swaping Preston with the city looking like it is being submerged in the sea.
