Police have been asked to investigate after a motorbike was set on fire.

The incident saw fire crews from Preston race to Woodlands Avenue in Ribbleton late on Tuesday evening.

They found a motorbike on fire at the side of the road at around 11.14pm.

The fire was put out and Lancashire Fire and Rescue have referred the incident to the police as they believe the fire was started deliberately.
