Lea cooker fire sees firefighters put out Sunday breakfast blaze

Fire crews from Preston Fire Station were called out after breakfast went very wrong at one household.


A fire in a cooker in Nelson Crescent, Lea, saw firefighters called out at 9am on Sunday.

They used breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet and a ventilation unit to put out the fire.

No one was hurt in the fire and crews were on the scene for around 20 minutes.
