The fish and chip takeaway near Preston Market appears to have suffered another fire.

Shoppers saw two fire engines parked up as firefighters in breathing apparatus entered the building.

Crews were called around 1.30pm on Saturday.

A spokesman for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Two fire engines and crews from Preston responded to a fire in a chip-frying range. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used a hosereel jet to put the fire out. There were no casualties.”
