Burglary in Priory Street sparks police warning

Police are urging students to be vigilant after a burglary near the University campus.


Electrical goods were taken from a property in Priory Street, Ashton-on-Ribble.

It happened during the early hours of Sunday 14 February.

PC Ross, community beat manager for the university ward, said: “Please remember to keep your doors and windows locked and secure at all times.

“It’s also worth remembering there are steps everyone can take to make your homes and property more secure. There’s lots of useful tips and crime prevention advice on our website.”

Anyone with information is asked to call the police on 1091 quoting reference 0338 of 14 February.
