An Ashton-on-Ribble man is wanted in connection with an assault in a pub car park in Fulwood.
Gary Hall, 25, has been classed as a missing person after an attack on a 23-year-old man.
The incident took place around 6pm on Monday in the car park at the Phantom Winger pub in Garstang Road.
The victim was struck over the head with a glass, and was then taken to Royal Preston Hospital for treatment.
DS Jerry Sturgess of Preston Police said: “This is a serious incident and a man has been left with a nasty head injury as a result. I would urge Gary Hall or anyone who knows his current whereabouts to get in touch with the police.
“As well as being wanted in connection with these matters Gary Hall has also been classed as a high risk missing person. If anyone else has any other information or may have witnessed what happened or the events leading up to the assault, to please come forward as any information you hold could help us with our enquiries.”
