A Preston teenager got a birthday treat while on a night out in the city centre.

Katie Simpson was out with pals to celebrate her 18th birthday when she got the chance to meet the star of E4’s Tattoo Fixers show.

Jay Hutton was appearing at Popworld in Church Street and Katie took the chance to grab a selfie with him.

She said: “Last night was amzaing, this moment completed my 18th birthday weekend perfectly.

“I met Jay Hutton from Tattoo Fixers and it was amazing. Such a happy girl with such a happy life.”

The Cheshire-based tattoo artist features in the show where they try to cover-up bad tattoos.

Jay, 25, has also inked a number of celebs including Kerry Katona, Travie McCoy and a number of Corrie stars.
