A celebration of all things Harry Potter comes to the Harris Museum and library on Saturday.
AdvertisementThe ‘It’s Absurd’ day sees wizarding-based fun for all the family with costume competitions, facepainting and a chance to make a balloon Hedwig.
There’s also the chance to create your own magic wand, as part of the the National Libraries Day on Saturday 6 February.
Nothing Happens, Twice launches the same day at the Harris, branded an absurd art exhibition and featuring a film with Preston Bus Station as its backdrop.
The family fun events take place from 10am to 4pm with sessions taking place from 10am to 12.30pm and then again from 1.30pm to 4pm.
All events are free including facepainting but the museum asks for a voluntary donation for this if families wish to do so.
